James, got the marshalls instructions and can see the map for Culmhead but cannot see a map for West Harptree. Have I got the right place on this map. Hi Bob, there was no separate map for WHT. If you look at the attached competitors information pack v3 you will find a grid, postcode and hyperlink there, that will confirm if the links here are correct - as i haven't checked!! Jeroen and I are on SS4 is there a site plan as i wish to plan my equipement level for my days deployment...in other words can i get a caravan next to the stage as i have a loud hailer and i can have a cooked breakfast around 11am. there will be a site plan which will go on the notice board in the OEC Marquee, i haven't done it yet, waiting to see what the weather does as that will determine the routes to some extent. You will be on the far side (South) just above the wooded Gulley. So caravan no - 4x4 yes. Jeroen will have a 90 with him. Do we get there for a 7.30 or 8 briefing? if your an SS marshall then 0730 (which you are), if your doing scrutineering then 0800 (which your not) if your doing both then 0730 then 0800. Aim is to brief you at 0730, you then have time to find the SS. check it. find all the punches, start, finish etc, and get back to collect the first team post the 0900hrs briefing. Hope that makes sense. Whats with the spectators list? never been to an event where you have to monitor the spectators. they need to sign in to accept the risk, once they have done that they then come under my personal accident cover plan. you also need to keep them off the stages!!! Looking forward to seeing you all on Fri/Sat. Culmhead is done, about 5km routes, (10km of tape) and i didn't set it out as continuous. Check Google Earth for the routes, they should be on there by now. WHT should be finished about 1600hrs. Remember you are all welcome and encouraged to view the sections prior to the event. Codrivers - dont forget a torch for the night stages! -------------------- |
